Homemade Chips Recipe

Today I discovered just how easy it is to make homemade chips.  These chips are baked and are Gluten free!

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Take the best corn tortillas you can find (or make your own).  Cut them into quarters.  Brush both sides with a healthy high heat-able oil.  I recommend Avocado, Peanut or Rice Bran (which is currently available at Trader Joe’s). Place the tortilla quarters in one layer on a baking sheet, sprinkle with a little sea salt (and any other seasoning – I use a little chili powder).

Bake in the 400 degree oven for 8 – 10 minutes until they are crisp but not burnt.

They should teach this in high school.
