The Iberian Pig

The Iberian Pig rocks! We took a party of seven there to celebrate Jesse’s 35th Birthday, and what a perfect choice it was. The menu is largely tapas, so we were able to share many small plates at an extremely reasonable price. Although the menu has several large plate selections, tapas are the way to go at The Iberian Pig. The flavors are excellent and the portions on the large side for tapas.

Our favorites included the Manchego Mac ‘n’ Cheese with Garganelli pasta, Manchego-pork belly cream, and butter toasted panko making for a very nice crisp topping; the bacon wrapped dates stuffed with Manchego cheese and walnuts, and finished with a perfectly sweet romesco sauce; and Esparragos – grilled green asparagus with poached farm egg, Meyer Lemon Hollandaise, crispy Serrano, and shaved Abrigo cheese. In addition we ordered the Wild Mushroom Flatbread (pictured above) and a selection of cheeses (queso) and cured meats (charcuteria). All were delicious.

For dessert we shared one order of the Flourless Chocolate Cake and the Dulce di Leche Gelato. A perfect ending to a wonderful meal.

All in all, we give this restaurant 4 stars. Delicious food, good service and great bang for the buck.
