PeachDish Reviewed

PeachDish Background:

I recently became familiar with, Atlanta based, PeachDish. They offer a unique and delicious menu packed up in a box and shipped directly to your doorstep. I had no idea what to expect, and honestly I half expected frozen dinners to show up.

I was delightfully surprised and somewhat overwhelmed when I received the package. On the one hand I had a box chock-full of seasonal, local, delicious ingredients, and on the other hand I had a box full of ingredients I had to make for dinner.

PeachDish Recipes:

The recipe was for Beef and Broccoli over Jasmine Rice.  All of the ingredients from PeachDish were pre measured, and all that was left was to put everything together.  I have to admit that my timing was all off, and the Miso Soup was finished cooking far too soon.

The Miso Soup was surprising delicious, and easy to make.  I ended up with a little too much liquid in the beef so I quickly added some flour to make for a delicious sauce.

We also really enjoyed the White Bean Salad, Spicy Honey Mustard Drumsticks, and Herb-Roasted Acorn Squash.  All of the recipes are easy to read, but I would head the recommendation to “read through the entire recipe card before beginning.”  Don’t just start cooking off the cuff.

PeachDish is a great way to have delicious and unique dinners on a weakly basis.
